BIO

DeeDich is a contemporary artist whose work revolves around the contrast between vintage and modern concepts. Through complex compositions and curiosity she discovers the elements of perfect colour densities and vibrancy. Her work moves between acrylics, watercolours to pencils and mixed media. But that's just a word salad, am I right? You don't really want to read another boring About the Artist button. What makes my work stand out is the risks I take, I like to challenge myself and dare to mix things that doesn't seem to belong together. None of my artworks have names, almost none! However, they do have numbers! I believe we are all co creators, so the people who own my works should name them for what it gives THEM! What is number 13 for me? Some of my works have one or more number 13, the more 13s the stronger the value of it's creation. Value that measures in ripple effect and inspiration. It has a significant meaning in my life, which is why it finds it's way to my canvas and paper!

My most recent solo show include My mixed media at Gallery 13 London . My work have been featured in The University of  Leicester, celebrating 100 years of change by Amco Studio, with multiple 1st place national awards dating from my studies until I finished art school.
